Local Note
The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is one of the books added to the collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian and Lawrence Reddick was the curator. Imperfect: disbound, treated, reinforced brittle original printed wrappers with new preliminary, back page, and tape spine; library sewn in quarter brown cloth and two stiff paper boards commercially made archival binder; It lacks the NYPL bookplate, perforated stamp, but has some of the ink stamps and or some of the processing markings of the original Schomburg Collection.
