Interviews with original cast member Donna McKechnie (Cassie) and current cast member Jack Noseworthy (Mark) about their experiences with the show. Discussion of the integration of acting, dancing, and singing required of the performers. Mention of the influence actress Marsha Mason had on the shaping of the character of Cassie. Performance footage, with the number Sing! shown almost in its entirety.
Segment two: Good day New York, aired Channel 5, April 26, 1990, 7:00 a.m. Part one of a two-part story on the closing of A chorus line. (Part two included in segment six.)
