1 videocassette (VHS, NTSC) (120 min.) : sd., col.; 1/2 in.
Summary
Footage of two rehearsals onstage. In the first (ca. 86 min.), some of the dancers are costumed, while others wear rehearsal clothes. A pianist plays the music, and the action takes place under work lights. Rudolf Nureyev is present during the first 49 min.; he is glimpsed, obviously in a weakened condition, reclining in a chair downstage. The second rehearsal (ca. 33 min.) takes place with the orchestra, some stage lighting, and more dancers in costume. The dancers playing Nikiya and Solor do not fully dance their choreography.
