- Variations on I'm old fashioned, also known as Astaire variations, is a ballet tribute to Fred Astaire, with music by Morton Gould, based on Jerome Kern's song I'm old fashioned, from the motion picture You were never lovelier (Columbia, 1942). A clip from the film is featured at the beginning and end of the ballet. Variations on I'm old fashioned premiered on June 16, 1983.
