- Summary
- Members of the American Theatre Laboratory perform an improvisational movement exercise. For this exercise two areas of the room are marked off by masking tape on the floor; they correspond to a diagram accompanying the tape, in which one area is labelled "observers" and the other "space." The participants begin the exercise sitting on chairs in one area, then cross into the other and perform improvised movements before returning to their seats. There is no dialogue on the tape.
