Summary

Jerome Robbins, assisted by ballet master Bart Cook, directs consecutive rehearsals of Glass pieces and Gershwin concerto. The first session, which lasts approximately fifty minutes, includes rehearsal of the corps section of the second movement of Glass pieces (Facades), and the women's sections of the third movement (Akhnatan). The second session includes rehearsal of the corps sections of the first movement of Gershwin concerto. In both rehearsals Robbins discusses and demonstrates choreography.
