- Description
- 1 videocassette (VHS, NTSC) (26 min.) : sd., b&w; 1/2 in.
- Summary
- Series of short dance pieces performed by three men and two women, one of whom may be Judith Jacobs. All except the first, a man's solo, are group works. The first piece (ca. 4 min.) is danced to a country music (?) song performed by a male singer; this is followed by two dances (ca. 6 min.) performed to instrumental jazz music; and a piece danced to a medley of songs by a male singer, including "That old feeling," "I'll see you in my dreams," and "As time goes by" (ca. 8 min.). The next two works are recorded from a different camera angle, facing the mirror. The first (ca. 4 min.) is accompanied by a combination of the spoken word and music; in the second (ca. 4 min.), the dancers manipulate canes as they dance to two Beatles songs of the late 1960s, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and "With a little help from my friends."
