- Interview with Natalia Makarova (ca. 29 min.) / telecast on May 31, 1978. Russian ballerina Natalia Makarova, recently returned to the stage after the birth of her son, discusses his Greek Orthodox christening; her pregnancy; and the resumption of her dance career with a new duet, Jerome Robbins's Other dances, in which she was partnered by Mikhail Baryshnikov. Makarova also talks about her youthful aspirations, her painting, and her first performance of Odile's thirty-two fouettés in Swan lake. She views and comments on an excerpt from Cavett's earlier interview with Alexandra Danilova. She discusses Baryshnikov's decision to leave American Ballet Theatre in order to work with George Balanchine, and the process of creating a dramatic role.
- Interview with Michel Pavloff (ca. 28 min.) / telecast on June 8, 1978. Michel Pavloff, who formerly danced with Diaghilev's Ballet Russe, tells numerous anecdotes about the legendary dancer Vaslav Nijinsky, whom he knew personally. He describes Nijinsky's dancing and descent into mental illness. He also tells an anecdote about his own role, performed en travesti, in Léonide Massine's The good-humored ladies; touches upon his acquaintance with Pablo Picasso; and describes an encounter with Nikita Khrushchev.
