- Summary
- Disc 1 (ca. 62 min.) Messages received on Jerome Robbins home office answering machine, ca. 1983-86. The messages are addressed either to Robbins or to his secretary, Barbara Whipple. The messages are from Robbins' friends, colleagues and associates and concern his professional, social and personal affairs. Recording contains numerous pauses, hang-ups and dial tones.
- Disc 2 (ca. 24 min.) Messages from Robbins' friends and associates recorded on his home answering machine tape, dated Feb. 21-23, 1984. The messages concern Robbins' professional and personal affairs. Robbins picks up phone occasionally and part of his conversation with the caller can be heard. Recording contains numerous pauses, hang-ups and dial tones.
