Summary

Instruction in a simplified version of the Chinese exercise system tai chi, designed specifically for arthritis sufferers. The workout is preceded by brief background information on tai chi; and a discussion of arthritis, its treatment, and the benefits that tai chi can confer. The workout consists of a warm-up, six basic movements, six advanced movements, qi gong exercises (focusing on breathing), and winding-down exercises.
