"Hand-bound paper cover book with hand-set type presented in a brown paper folder. The binding is sewn with wool and has a double cover of glassine and blue paper. The title page is printed on blue paper. The frontispiece consists of a pink sheet with an offset image printed on am embossed card with an applied watercolor on glassine paper. The book is decorated with one original edition [i.e. collage] made of wool on pierced paper. The textual phrase and the colophon are printed on pink sheets"--Publisher's information sheet accompanying Spencer Coll. copy.

"Paper: glassine, a blue German laid paper (2 weights), pink and white Mexican paper ... Double cover and title page printed by Linotipografica Quintas, Oaxaca, and the remaing type printed in Plaza Santo Domingo, Mexico City. All type is hand-set. Lay-out and design: James Brown"--Information sheet.
Text is the single phrase "Tu falda de cristal" from Paz's poem "Piedra de sol" (1957), which is printed on a pink sheet tipped in on leaf [4], on all 4 p. of the blue paper covers, on title page and on verso of its conjugate leaf.
The pink sheets with the frontispiece collage, the phrase "Tu falda de cristal" and the colophon are tipped in.
Contains 2 collages by Brown, one incorporating a watercolor on glassine paper.
