Consists of 10 bifolia, stitched together; blank leaves following dedication and preceding colophon not counted in collation. Title page on 2 sucessive leaves. The third through ninth bifolia each contain a haiku on first leaf and an etching (plate mark 33 x 22 cm., on sheet 44 x 32 cm.) inserted into diagonal slits on second leaf. Etchings depict dead field animals and insects; poems were written in response to the images.
