Summary
Video documentary on the career of lyricist E. Y. "Yip" Harburg. Includes excerpts from interviews with Harburg, clips from films and stage shows to which he contributed lyrics, home movie footage, and performance sequences in which Harburg performs several of his best known songs. Harburg discusses his friendship with George and Ira Gershwin, and his professional relationships with colleagues Harold Arlen and Burton Lane.
