- Summary
- Disc 1 (ca. 27 min.). [Piano and orchestral music is played during the first ca. 18 min. before a live audience.] Jerome Robbins dictates letters and the content of telephone calls to his assistant regarding the disposition of various matters, including the staging of a dance from [the 1956 musical comedy] Bells are ringing, the upcoming international tour by Ballets: U.S.A., conditions for the photographing of a show [Gypsy] he is choreographing, a request for references from Gene Kelly regarding Ken Carlisle (?) [ends abruptly].
- Disc 2 (ca. 25 min.). [Begins abruptly.] Robbins continues to dictate letters to his assistant regarding various matters, including the upcoming international tour, the conceptual basis of his new, silent ballet [Moves], his enjoyment of nature in Long Island, the reaction of Betty [Cage?] to his silent ballet, his interest in choreographing a ballet to [Johannes] Brahms' Liebeslieder waltzes, the U.S. Dept. of State's use of him for publicity, his working title, Of movements, for his silent ballet, the providing of quotable statements for use in an upcoming book of photography [ends abruptly].
