- A poem eulogizing the Mexican American labor activist Cesar Chavez and his work helping organize migrant farm workers. Following the 1992 death of civil rights activist Csar Chavez, who fought for the rights of farm workers, civil rights, and environmental justice, Anaya eulogized Chavez and his life's work in this poem which calls all peoples together to continue the non-violent struggle for freedom and justice. Full-color illustrations.
