Summary
The first seventy minutes of this tape include raw footage of ballet classes at Jacob's Pillow. Students in Benjamin Harkarvy's classes perform barre exercises and routines in the center of the room, and Harkarvy gives corrections to individual dancers. Part of the footage focuses on one student, Sara Neece. Johan Renvall coaches students in a partnered adagio. The last 33 minutes of the tape record two run-throughs of Five madrigals, onstage in the Ted Shawn Theatre, in practice clothes. The first run-through is incomplete, the second (July 12) is complete.
