  • Segment one, aired Channel 27. As part of his acceptance of Florida State University's first Maximillian E. and Marion O. Hoffman Eminent Scholar Chair in Theatre, producer/director Joseph Papp will teach at its School of Theatre for two weeks. Papp has also opened up the New York Shakespeare Festival archives to Florida State University. Includes footage of Papp in his office at the Public Theater, interviews with students who will study with Papp and coverage of a course on Papp given at the university.
  • Segment two, aired Channel 27. Three time Pulitizer Prize winner, producer/director Joseph Papp is in Tallahassee, Florida to occupy the Hofmann Eminent Scholar Chair in Theatre at Florida State University. Papp will teach a course called "The thinking professor," and will also lead workshops in acting, directing and theater management.
