- Summary
- Liz Lerman and Don Zuckerman work with senior citizens performing in Lerman's piece Still crossing for the Inside/out series at Jacob's Pillow. The session begins with the seniors warming up with stretches and pantomime exercises. The seniors work on developing introductions for themselves, combining speech with gesture, which they will perform in the Inside/out program. Sections from Still crossing are rehearsed by the seniors and by Don Zuckerman and other members of Lerman's company. Lerman discusses how the piece adresses the immigration experience.

- Still crossing was commissioned by Dancing in the Streets for Liberty Dances, a festival held in conjunction with the centennial of the Statue of Liberty. It was choreographed by Liz Lerman with music by Mark Isham (Times of Harvey Milk), with additional music by Teddy Klaus. It was first performed by 1986.
- Inside/out is a series of outdoor programs in which artists perform and discuss their choreography with audiences in an informal setting.
