Summary
Entrant in the Dance Films Association's 32nd annual Dance on Camera Festival 2004. Documentary on Snappy Dance Theater, a contemporary dance company based in Cambridge, Mass., and its season at the Copley Theatre in Boston in Oct. 2002. In addition to the challenge of filling a larger than usual theater for a seven-performance run, the company hoped to expand its audience base and find supporters. The film includes interviews with company members, glimpses behind the scenes, and performance excerpts from the company's repertory for the engagement, which included Spring collection, Tango tangle, Sangere, Movement in D'flat, Ma chairie, and Overneath.
