Summary
Inside/out is a series of programs presented outdoors at Jacob's Pillow, in which choreographers present their works and discuss them with audiences. This program begins with the dancers performing several sketches for a work in progress, and Marks discusses its development. Marks and Canner perform a second work in progress, set to hurdy-gurdy music, and Marks discusses it before and after the performance. The recording breaks off abruptly after 25 minutes. When it resumes, Marks discusses her work Anatomy of a triangle. The dancers perform the trio from this piece, and at the end of the tape Marks performs the solo with a film projection; both are set to music by Michael Sansonia.
