Summary
Inside/out is a series of outdoor programs in which artists perform and discuss their choreography with audiences in an informal setting. In this program, dancers perform a work in progress that became What holds you, choreographed by Victoria Marks, with visuals (not present here) by Lorie Novak and Janet Zweig and music by Matt Darriau. The piece lasts 26 minutes and is followed by a question-and-answer session. Marks, Zweig and Novak discuss a text about the Humboldt effect and how the ideas in the text are expressed in the piece. Some questions and comments from the audience are inaudible.
