- "Produced in an edition of 20 copies, representing the standard measure for vision, on a single piece of vellum cut to form nine circles folding into one behind the eye. The eye rests on a black satin cushion with a ribbon tab in a gold box, with a cover resembling a round gold picture frame in acrylic gesso. The tab facilitates the opening of the box, or it may be used to thread a cord that could hang from the neck. Etched eye and photo-etched text printed on [animal] vellum by Giorgio Cardarelli of Stamperia Bentivoglio."--Artist's website.
- The vellum unfolds to 80 x 80 mm. The poem by the artist reads clockwise from the top left circle.
- Artist's multiple produced in the style of late 18th and early 19th century miniature eye portraits.
- Etched eye and photo-etched text printed on vellum by Giorgio Cardarelli of Stamperia Bentivoglio.
- Photo-etched text and eye illustration printed on one side of an accordion folded vellum sheet, with folded leaves cut in the shape of circles. Sheet unfolds to 80 x 80 mm. Housed in a round gold case, lined with black silk. Black silk pull attached to case. Top of case cut out to reveal the etched eye that serves as "cover" to poem.
