Lecture illustrated by slides and video excerpts of Martha Graham's Primitive mysteries and Jerome Robbins's The small house of Uncle Thomas from the musical The king and I. An excerpt from the film A dancer's world is announced but was not recorded.
  • A conversation with Yuriko and Janet Eilber / moderator, Anna Kisselgoff. Topics include Yuriko's approach to restaging dance works, Graham's directions to her in dancing Primitive mysteries, dancing in the musical Flower drum song, and her perceptions of choreographer Jerome Robbins. She also answers questions from the audience.
  • Cry / choreography and costume, Yuriko; music, André Jolivet (Concerto pour harpe et orchestre de chambre, Andante cantabile); danced by Miki Orihara.
