• Cassette 10, side A (ca. 38 min.). This recording consists in substantial part of Frederic Franklin's comments on photographs of ballets, and a score, shown to him at the interview. Franklin speaks about George Balanchine's ballet Jeu de cartes; Franklin's first meeting Vera Zorina, in London; Franklin's role as the Joker; the cast, costumes, set, and choreography; Alicia Markova's solo; Franklin's solo; Balanchine's putting him in charge of the rehearsals; Igor Stravinsky's attitude toward the ballet; Franklin comments on photographs of Jeu de cartes. [Ends abruptly.]
