Summary
Benjamin Harkarvy, director of the Jacob's Pillow ballet project, discusses the training undergone by dancers in the project, focussing on the elements of performing workshop. Dancers demonstrate exercises and choreography from the workshop, including exercises to develop direction of focus, pantomime, contact with a partners, walking, and dramatic improvisation. Brief choreographic etudes created by Harkarvy and by students in the workshop are performed. Students are identified by first names only.
