  • In a presentation for the opening of the newly restored tea garden at Jacob's Pillow, Jess Meeker performs on the piano and Barton Mumaw and Liz Thompson speak about Jacob's Pillow's past and present and about the restoration project.
  • On the outdoor stage, Benjamin Harkarvy, director of the Jacob's Pillow ballet project, speaks about the training undergone by dancers in the project, focussing on a workshop called Elements of performing. Dancers demonstrate exercises and choreography from the workshop, including exercises to develop direction of focus, pantomime, contact with a partners, walking, and dramatic improvisation. Brief choreographic etudes created by Harkarvy and by students in the workshop are performed. Students are identified by first names only.
