- Description
- 1 videocassette (VHS, NTSC) (4 min.) : sd., b&w; 1/2 in.
- Summary
- Excerpt from a television show hosted by Jackie Gleason. Maurice and Gregory Hines are seen as young dancers, performing a tap dance number choreographed by Henry Le Tang to a musical medley that includes "Tea for two," "Perdido," and "How high the moon." Although this recording is labeled American scene magazine [i.e. Jackie Gleason's American scene magazine], a television variety show series that ran from 1962 to 1966, those dates seem too late in view of the childlike appearance of the brothers here (Gregory, the younger, was born in 1946). No titles or credits appear on frame.
