- Biography
- The Curry School was founded by African American educator E. W. B. Curry, in Delaware, Ohio in 1889. It moved to Urbana, Ohio in 1895 where it was incorporated as the Curry Normal and Industrial School. Also known as the Curry Institute, it was established to enable African American students to learn a trade, receive a business education or obtain training in agriculture.
