Summary
Inside/out is a series of programs in which artists perform and discuss their choreography with audiences in an informal setting. In this program David Parsons discusses his choreography, background, current activities and working methods, answers questions from the audience, and presents excerpts from an untitled work in progress (possibly in early version of Scrutiny), Tightwire, Cedar, and Sleep study. This program lasts approximately 45 minutes and ends abruptly. The remainder of the tape contains part of a program of African music and dance in the Ted Shawn Theatre, including performances by Fua Di Congo, Foday Musa Suso and the Ladzekpo Brothers and the African Music and Dance Ensemble.
