Description
1 videocassette (VHS) (166 min.) : sd., col., SLP; 1/2 in.
Summary
Tape contains two focus group sessions led by Mark Graham of the market research firm Arts Data. Focus group one consists of a roundtable discussion with eleven theatergoers who speak about their theatergoing habits and experiences, including how they decide to see a particular show, and the relative influence theater critics have on their decision. Following this discussion the panelists respond to television and print advertisments they have just seen for the New York Shakespeare Festival Broadway musical the mystery of Edwin Drood. Focus group one ends ca. 110 min. The remainder of tape consists of a second focus group session. The image quality becomes poor at this point, and the soundtrack inaudible.
