  • Segment one: War on two fronts, aired July 23, 1991. While AIDS is decimating the creative communities in both New York and Los Angeles, New York's theater world has met the crisis head on while Hollywood has failed to address the disease on an industry-wide level. Discussion includes the responses by both communities, and covers the impact of the AIDS related death toll on both Broadway and the entertainment industry.
  • Segment two: Fear and loathing, aired July 24, 1991. While AIDS is killing an alarming number of people in the Hollywood entertainment industry, fear of discrimination is forcing the disease to stay in the shadows. Includes interviews with an annonymous actor who is forced to keep his condition a secret, and with commercial artist Elliot Hessayon and film publicist Scott Holton, who were fired when their employers discovered they were diagnosed with AIDS. Includes clip of the film Long time companion.
  • Segment three: Silent screen, aired July 25, 1991. Although AIDS has killed more than 10,000 people in the last ten years, Hollywood has failed to make one film about the disease. All of the major arts communities have dealt with the disease artistically, except for Hollywood, which maintains a "surreal" silence around the disease. Includes interviews with actor and comedian Michael Kearns and others who discuss possible reasons for Hollywood's silence. Includes footage of AIDS activism.
  • Segment four: Requiem, aired July 26, 1991. The entertainment industry mourns its losses to people with AIDS and copes with its grief. Includes interviews with Carol Lawrence and Chita Rivera who discuss the losses they have experienced.
