- The composition Die Familie accompanied portions of Act III, scene E and Act IV, scene A of the A.R.T. performance of the German section of the opera the CIVIL warS by Robert Wilson and Heiner Müller. The CIVIL warS was conceived as a world-wide theater piece to be presented in conjunction with the Olympic games in Los Angeles in 1984.
