- Both 'Don Leon' and 'Leon to Annabella' falsely attributed to Lord Byron. Cf. Wise, Ashley Lib. I, 168. Knight, Lord Byron's marriage, p. 162 states that both poems were probably written by George Colman the younger, and that the "Notes to Don Leon" were written at various times by various hands.
- For discussion of authorship & earlier editions, cf. G. Wilson Knight, Lord Byron's marriage, p. 159-169.
- Purports to tell the inside story of Byron's alleged homosexual propensities.
