Summary
This program presents a sample of the training received by students in the Jacob's Pillow jazz project. The program begins with a ballet barre and petit allegro combinations taught by Sara Neece, followed by a jazz warmup taught by Lynn Simonson. Guest teacher Ann Reinking introduces a choreographic study she created for the students using warmup exercises and vocabulary from various Broadway shows. Lynn Simonson directs several classroom exercises and choreographic studies. At the end of the program the students introduce themselves.
