Summary
Two solos by the legendary belly dancer Nadia Gamal (1937-1990). A third solo, a theater-style oriental dance, was released in 1994 on Ibrahim Farrah's video Rare glimpses: dances from the Middle East (see *MGZIC 9-4046). These two dances were transferred from 16mm film to video and color enhanced in 2003 by Phyllis Saretta (stage name Phaedra) with funding from the oriental dancer Leila Gamal (no relation to Nadia) of South Bend, Ind.
