- Summary
- Ntozake Shange reads from her poetry accompanied in part by saxaphonist David Murray. Shange reads five poems, including Stuff from her theatrical work For colored girls who have considered suicide when the rainbow is enuf, and she discusses her work also. Murray accompanies Shange for two of the works which are performed, one of which is called In the blueness. Tapes include two different camera angles of the same event. On tape one the camera is focused to the left on Murray. On tape two the camera is focused centrally on Shange.
