Summary
This is a wide-shot recording of a performance of Prometheus. Robert Wilson, working with texts from Aeschylus' Prometheus bound and Aristophanes' The birds, collaborated with composer Iannis Xenakis to create this opera in three acts and five knee plays. Maya Lymberopoulou plays the role of the Old Storyteller, speaking the text from Prometheus bound in ancient Greek.
