- Summary
- Videodisc one: Edited footage from an Australian promotional film about the Broadway musical A chorus line. Includes interviews with two Broadway professionals who discuss the creation of A chorus line and the Broadway audition process, as well as footage of dancers rehearsing with choregrapher Baayork Lee. The promotional was made as auditions were being held in Syndey and Melbourn, Australia for the international production of A chorus line.
- Videodisc two: Unedited footage used for the above promotional. Performers rehearse sequences from A chorus line with choreographer Baayork Lee, followed by several minutes of solo dancing by Lee, accompanied by a pianist. Dancing ends ca. 18 min.; the last three minutes of tape contain a shot of the overhead stage lights. The sound and visual quality are poor and the video features abrupt cuts between sequences.
