- Summary
- This disc contains a news report about FluxArenaRama, an event held at the health club of the Target Center in Minneapolis, sponsored by the Walker Art Center, in conjunction with its exhibit The spirit of Fluxus. The event, which celebrated performance art and dance and their connection to athletics, included a performance by the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. The news report includes footage of the event and comments from Merce Cunningham about perceptions of his work and his philosophy of dance. This segment appears at 14 min. into the tape and lasts 3 min. The remainder of the disc contains the complete 10 o'clock news program, including national, international and local news, sports and weather reports.
