- Summary
- This disc contains a demonstration video of a prototype for Immerce: a visual database, an interactive CD-ROM containing archival material relating to Merce Cunningham's choreography. This video describes and demonstrates the features of the database, using two choreographic works, Septet and Beach birds, as samples. Archival material shown includes videos, scores, critical responses and documentary information. Linear, chance and associative methods of navigating the database are demonstrated, along with features such as the memory map and system gaze.
