Summary
New York magazine presents a program previewing the fall season of arts events in New York City. The program includes segments on Karen Ziemba, star of Contact; producer Daryl Roth; chef Todd English's restaurant Olives; the making of the motion picture Two family house, discussed by director Raymond DeFelitta; Merce Cunningham and his dance company; the television program Madigan men; and a retrospective of Lee Krasner's paintings at the Brooklyn Museum. The segment on Merce Cunningham appears at 30 min. into the tape and lasts approximately 5 min., including footage of Cunningham directing rehearsals at the Merce Cunningham Dance Studio, and comments from Cunningham, former dancer Carolyn Brown and current dancers Paige Cunningham and Daniel Squire.
