- Summary
- Unedited interview footage with four original cast members from A chorus line, and an unidentified actor with AIDS, who discuss the impact of AIDS on the musical, Broadway, and their lives and careers. Discussion topics include the death in 1987 of A chorus line creator Michael Bennett from AIDS, and others from the production who have died, the response to AIDS by the musical's management and the Broadway community in general, and the various ways performers cope with the disease. Tape concludes with several minutes of takes of the interviewer's questions. The interviews were likely conducted for television report AIDS and Hollywood, aired Entertainment daily journal, WNYW-TV, Channel 5, July 23 to 26, 1991. The report examined the impact of and responses to AIDS in Hollywood and Broadway.
