- Summary
- This disc contains a television report about the premiere of Ocean at the Kunstenfestival des Arts in Brussels. The segment begins with an introduction in Flemish. The remainder of the segment is in English and includes footage of rehearsals and performances of Ocean, comments from Merce Cunningham on the origin of the piece and its title, comments on the score by composers David Tudor and Andrew Culver, and comments from Cunningham and John Cage about their collaboration, excerpted from the Belgian film Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The remainder of the disc contains an interview in French (with Flemish subtitles) with Belgian writer Suzanne Lilar.

- Ocean was originally conceived by Merce Cunningham and John Cage, based on the writings of James Joyce. It was completed after Cage's death with music by Andrew Culver and David Tudor, based on Cage's ideas. Ocean premiered at the Cirque Royal, Belgium, May 18, 1994.
