- Summary
- Raw footage from a public hearing at New York's City Hall concerning a plan to landmark the Broadway theater district. The footage was intended for use in a Channel 2 news feature. The hearing, conducted in wake of the destruction of the Helen Hayes and Morosco Theaters for the Portman Hotel the previous month, features testimony by actor Tammy Grimes, theatrical producer Joseph Papp and Kent Barwick, chairman of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission. Footage includes pro-landmark protestors outside City Hill. Video ends abrubtly.
