Biography (note)
  • MinEvents, shortened versions of Merce Cunningham's full-evening Events, began appearing in the company's repertory in 1995. Cunningham's Events consist of a selection from his group and solo works performed to music and decor specially arranged for that event. Each event is performed only once, and not meant to be repeated. The MinEvent performed at Jacob's Pillow on July 2, 1997 included excerpts from Points in space, Aeon, Changing steps, Fabrications, and Squaregame.
