- Summary
- Leaving the house of a strict father (Prithviraj Kapoor), who has disowned his wife (Leela Chitnis) and thrown her out on flimsy suspicions, Raj Kapoor opts for leading the life of a vagabond (Awara). Living on his wits, committing small crimes to make ends meet, Raj teams up with Jagga (K. N. Singh), a known criminal.
