- Summary
- Three lectures are presented in this record. The first lecture, "Consciousness and the voices of the mind" (Reel 1) , describes consciousness "is not in your head; it can be found everywhere." It also recounts the history of human's relationship of consciousness. The second lecture, "Imagination and the dance of the self" (Reel 2), he describes the different "realms of self" all individuals have, primarily focusing on the internal, not the external physical. The defining question is "Who am I?" The third lecture, "Mathematics as metaphor" (Reel 3), he describes the history of mathematics, using poetry with a metaphorical bent by various authors.
