Summary
This short film documents the series Six Saturdays: explorations in six archetypal themes at Yellow Springs Fellowship for the Arts, a program that brought together artists and humanists to explore subjects of universal human significance. The narrated film includes excerpts from lectures, performances and discussions as well as footage of audience members and the grounds at Yellow Springs during the series. Participants appearing in the film include Kei Takei and the Moving Earth Company, performing Takei's work Light; Saul Mendlovitz lecturing; John Immerwahr, Arthur Sabatini, and Gerald Walker in informal discussion with John Clauser; master class students; Joel Thome in conversation with John Clauser and directing the Orchestra of Our Time; Joseph Campbell lecturing; the Tanzprojekt München performing; and John Clauser lecturing on the subject of the future.
