Summary
The too perfect formula, described in program notes as a performance art "term paper," consists of six scenes in two parts. Part 1: introduction. Scene 1: Georgio's [sic] proposal; set in the home of Giorgio Vasari, Jan. 13 1563. Scene 2: Voulez-vous Boucher avec moi? set in Paris, 1765. Scene 3: The none too perfect floorboards; set in the Royal Academy of Art in London, Dec. 10, 1790. Scene 4: Poor ole Marraud; set in the studio of Jacques Louis David, 1793. Set 5: Requiem for Camille Monet; set in the cottage of Claude and Camille Monet, Sept. 5, 1879. Part 2: introduction. Scene 6: Ye gads, a cheeseparing! set in Burton Ale Vaults, Manhattan, Feb. 3, 1908.
