Summary
In this solo program, Dan Froot performs six pieces, spanning his career from 1985 to 1998, including one world premiere (Johnny Whoops). Froot introduces the program, which includes instrumental compositions, monologues, performance art and dance. Following the performance of Johnny Whoops is a sequence of excerpts from the piece performed for a special videotaping session, capturing sections where Froot is not fully visible during the performance, due to low lighting or his placement in the wings.
